The resources in this section focus on teaching and learning environmental and climate justice. Climate justice recognizes that the impacts of environmental degradation and climate change are unjustly distributed, harming those who are already disadvantaged more than others. It also seeks to reimagine societal structures to make life better for all beings.
Climate Justice in B.C.: Lessons for Transformation
This project, which is a collaboration between the Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives and the B.C. Teachers’ Federation, provides 8 classroom modules for students in Grade 8-12 to explore climate justice within the context of B.C.’s communities, history, economy and ecology.
